Anthophilous Advertising of the Day: A 100,000-strong swarm of bees generate buzz (sorry) for The Co-operative’s Plan Bee Campaign by spelling out the letters SOS on a billboard (or bee-board, if you will (please don’t)) in Devon.
Watch the billboard take shape here.

work tips for being a good employee

things i’ve learned in the area:

be polite and have manners, even in emails. this will earn you respect, and people will want to talk to you.

communicate with your boss. if you’re unsure about something, don’t be afraid to ask. this shows that you care about your work and your job enough to voice any concerns or questions.

clear days off whenever possible - this shows responsibility on your part when you want a day for vacation or whatever.

be friendly! if people like you and respect you, chance are you won’t get bashed too hard if you ever make a mistake.

if you make mistakes, own up to them and fix them.

ELECTRO-POP: Revengineers (9/6)

revengineers:

Ever found yourself humming along to your video-game theme song? Doo, doo doo, doo doo da doo… Catchy, right? Those familiar blips and beeps inspired one group of local college students to start making music.

kathy laluk of the rochester city newspaper did a write up on the upcoming revengineers / peelander z / paul baribeau / busman’s holiday show and it’s awesome. so stoked for this show. check the article out online or in print! we’re looking into a fridge!
